nisantasi.net is an independent guide to Nişantaşı (Nisantasi), written for visitors from abroad. It is a service of Nordteknik, a software studio registered in Tallinn, Estonia, that works with customers in Estonia, Türkiye and beyond. The guide is not affiliated with any hotel, shop, restaurant or municipality.

Who is behind the guide?

Nordteknik OÜ designs and builds mobile, web and industrial software: its own apps for iOS and Android, and the systems its clients run on, from logistics and warehouse tools to remote monitoring for water pumping stations. nisantasi.net is built by the same small team, with the same standards.

That shows in how the site works:

  • Fast and light: no database, no heavy page builders, pages that load quickly on a phone with a weak signal.
  • Privacy by design: no contact forms, no stored IP addresses, maps drawn on the page instead of embedded from Google, and tracking only with your permission.
  • Written for each reader: the four language versions are not word-for-word copies. The German pages explain EU customs allowances and roaming, the Arabic pages cover Ramadan, halal food and Gulf holiday dates, and the Russian pages deal with payments and cards.

How is the guide researched?

Practical facts come from official sources wherever they exist: Metro İstanbul, İstanbul Airport, Şehir Hatları ferries, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs for visas and the Revenue Administration for tax-free shopping. Restaurants and cafés are listed only when they appear in more than one independent source or in the MICHELIN Guide. Prices are given as ranges, with the date they were checked, and every page shows when it was last updated.

How does the guide make money?

Some links and booking boxes on this site are affiliate links. If you book a hotel, transfer, tour or eSIM through them, the booking platform pays us a small commission. The price you pay is the same. Hotel links go to Trip.com; transfer, tour and eSIM links go through the Travelpayouts affiliate network. Hotels, restaurants and shops cannot pay to appear on our lists, and no listing on this site is sponsored.

Accuracy and corrections

Shops, hotels and transport routes change. We review the guide regularly, but always confirm prices, opening times and timetables before you rely on them. If you spot something out of date, please write to info@nordteknik.com; we read every message and correct the page.

Privacy

This site does not use a contact form and does not store your IP address. When you follow a booking link, we count the click anonymously.

Cookies are used only with your permission, which you give or refuse in the banner shown on your first visit:

  • Necessary: one cookie (nc_consent) that remembers your choice for six months.
  • Statistics: Google Analytics, which tells us which pages are read and how visitors find the guide. Without your permission it sets no cookies.
  • Marketing: tools from our affiliate partner Travelpayouts and the Trip.com hotel search box, which can show offers and track bookings made through this site. Without your permission they are not loaded at all.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. Booking sites you visit through our links have their own privacy and cookie policies.
